rifle choices

Postby nodoes123 » Thu Dec 23, 2004 11:15 am

i'm 13 years old and shoot a Ruger m77 .243 rifle. I'm looking at buying something with a little more knockdwn power so I was leaning towards the 270 wsm. What should I get?

1.Browning Stainless Stalker
2.Savage Weather Warrior
3.Winchester Classic Featherweight

I deeply appreciate any replies.

I'm partial to Winchester rifles, but Browning is really just as good. I'm not a fan of the Savage guns, but my buddy who's got one says it's pretty good for the price. I've got a Win M70 in .300WSM and love it, gotta Win M70 30.06 too, shot it for 25 years, and it's never let me down. If you're not gonna be shooting over 300 yds, you really don't need the WSM - you could get by just as well with a .270 or 30.06, and they kick less than the mags.

Go wit hthe Wonchester Model 70 in .270 win. If ur not gonna have shots out past 300 yards no need for the wsm. the mags got alot more kick for something that is not necessary.
