Rip rap landing state fish and waterfowl management area

Can you hunt deer in the Rip rap landing state fish and waterfowl management area? I've been trying to find out online and haven't read where u can or can't hunt deer there. Thanks.

If its federal and I think that is you may have to check with the F&WS. Another thing since your looking around the Mississippi river/Illinois river area some of the islands in the Mississippi are considered Missouri property. Whoa to anyone caught there with Illinois tags etc. Same with public ground hunting and you cross a boundary and get caught on private ground. Our DNR claims to be broke and theyre writing BIG tickets for anything they can. Some of that river bottom public hunting ground is accessible only by boat too so the deer tend to get bigger.
