Rookie hunter need help with this buck!!!

I'm a rookie deer hunter have hunted turkey,quail, pheasent all my life. I'm going to attempt bow hunting this fall and have set up a game cam. Can you guys help me score him? Thanks!!! PS when does the antler growth stop? What time of the year?

The growth stops when the velvet comes off and that should start anytime if it hasn't already and to score him - well i would say he is a buck of a lifetime and im going to score low 175 to 180. I would rather be wrong and low then wrong and high.

Forget about the score. If that donkey shows up and you get a shot at him the last thing that should be on you mind is score. Your gonna need to concentrate on not pissin on yourself! That sir, Is a giant! I dream about deer like that. In North Carolina those guys just don't exist. I have got to move!

very nice buck however ive have countless footage of 170 bucks..dont think he will go over 180...he is definantly pushing 170 though i would say max 175...dont forget a deer looks a lot bigger in velvet...not to mention the pic is so closs up it makes everything look bigger...not saying he aint a good buck...he is an exceptional buck...any hunter in the world would be stupid to pass him up...dont think he goes over 175 though
