rut activity.

any new yorkers noticing any rut activity. iv put in about 15 sits of about three to four hours and only saw deer once. im getting really frustrated but im hoping maybe the ruts kicked in a little sense sunday.

Everything says this should be the week but it can slide one way or the other. I put five day in the stand last week friday to tuesday. Saw some small scrapes being made and some rubs but nothing like the rut should be.

went out yesterday saw the same thing. well i didnt see them being made, again saw no deer. but i saw alot of fresh small rubs and scrapes. still not seeing the movement though. not happy about it but ill keep at it.

I had a dozen doe come through last week but nothing following them.... a long sit with nothing to show for it. the day before I had a buck come in from behind. He hung up and wouldn't close the distance. wanted to go out this weekend but my hot water heater had other plans for me.

I hunt in Wyoming co. and they've been chasing the does real heavy for the past several days. I've been playing cat and mouse with a hudge 8 pointer (saw him twice on Thurs) but he's disappeared I think he's proably been with a doe.

missed this weekend moved my girlfriiend into my place saterday and it was pretty warm sunday so i didnt go out. ill be in there on saterday just hope the deer are moving a little bit more.
