I dont own one but I have a pair of their binocs. and a rangefinder. They make a good product and I think it would be a good purchase.

I have a 9x Bushnell and I love it. It is clear as day and the vision goes clear out to the edge. I hear that the Buck Ridge scopes are pretty cheap but are an excellent scope. I am thinking about putting one on my muzzleloader.

My dad has one and is pleased with it. I used to have a tasco and it was the absolute worst!!! Now I have a nikon buckmaster 50 mm and its great. My dad says the buckmaster is not as good as the nikon.

I personally have found that Leupold work very well. I recently purchased 6 Burris 3x9x40 w/bplex recticles another excellent scope..clarity in the day is great but what I really look for is light gathering in the wee hours of morning and just before dark....

That's what counts the most.

I have a Tasco and it has bad problems with glare! :x

I used to have a tasco and it was like i was blind when i was looking through that thing. The best thing I ever did was upgrade to a Nikon. Buckmasters 9-12 50mm. Couldn't be more impressed for the price. I got it about 3 years ago, and have only sighted it in once. It has been banged around and beaten, and it hasn't been knocked off so far. I love it.

For a $35 scope, the tasco is probably the best in that price range but, you get what you pay for! I just kick my cap to one side to cover the glare and it's not too bad!

I use a Simons 6.5X20X50 I think the price was 275.00 its been on my 300 win mag for 9 years. I haven’t had to adjust it at all since I mounted it so my opinion is you don’t have to spend a fortune on a scope. I know a lot of guys that have anywhere from 500.00-1000.00 rapped up into their scopes and I shoot as many if not more deer then they do.

I have noticed that a lot of people feel that price has a lot to do with quality. A Simmons Aetec 2.8x10x44 has topped my Model7 for 12 years. It does cost more for quality but there are several that are under 200.00 that do excellent. Bushnell Elite 3200, Burris Fullfield, Leupold Rifleman or VX1. One that I would like to see is the Mueller that boast a 98% light transmission there aren't any dealers around here that carry them.

I have a trophy 3-9X40 with the 3 2 1 reticule, the one with super thick posts and am impressed so far. Before I had a tasco and it was crap. My 243 made the crosshairs float. Its fairly bright (the bushnell) and the posts are easy to pick up.

Breakdown and spend an extra hundred bucks. For the money the Leupold or Burris scopes have the best quality, best service and best value. Leupold and Burris are American companies who employee American Engineers and Workers. I know that the glass is made in Japan, this is true of even the most expensive european scopes, but the lenses are designed by Americans to American standards. Leupold and Burris assemble their scopes with American Technicians not slave labor in China or Korea. Buy American Buy Leupold or Burris and stop being cheap.
