SE Kansas rut status??? anyone??

Postby nflabowhntr » Tue Nov 02, 2010 11:41 am

Hello fellow hunters. I was wondering if there were any hunters in the southeastern Kansas area that could give me some insight on the status of the rut? I'm hunting just outside the Pittsburg area and will be there Nov 7th thru 12th and was hoping I picked the right week to hunt the rut. Anyone have any experience in that area or hunted around there recently? Any info would be MUCH APPRECIATED! Thanks!

I personally hunt the east coast, but I think you picked an excellent week, even if you're hunting in the midwest. With the cold front that's about to go through and the perfect moon phase this coming weekend, it should be an excellent time to be out there and I would be surprised if the rut's not in full during your hunt.
Although this saying might be a little cliche, it's so true... hunting is not just a passion, it's an obsession.....it's part of what defines my life.....and I wouldn't have it any other way!
