I'm in a debate with a hunting friend of mine about the quality of bowhunting the small parcels of public land found in Southeast Minnesota. We are from Michigan and hunt Northeast Iowa every few years. He seems to think that the hunting in Minn. right above the Iowa border will be just as good.
I've heard that area is overhunted and that is why the DNR made the new rule changes this year.
He uses the B&C data map that goes back 100 years to pick our next hunting trips. Its busted before.
Could anyone give some input on this topic?
Thank you,
Bob
