southeast kansas

Me and my dad will be in southeast kansas in dec to hunt deer. We're looking at the mined land areas. If anyone could give some information it would be welcomed. I dont want to know anyones honey hole , It would cut down on scouting scence were from Ga. If there is a farmer who would let us hunt to thin the herd we're not above cullin' some does too. Also would love to come back with a pack of beagles and shoot some cottontails.Thanks from Georgia.

if you are interested in mined land hunting.....land is minimal and your best bet is to find some other area to hunt.
