I am 98% ready. Just waiting on a few diaphragms and a new striker to get here. I like turkey hunting because you can "interact" with the turkeys with your calling. You get a couple good turkey hunts under your belt and you will be hooked. I would suggest that you go with a friend that has been doing it for several seasons and is successful. It will make it more fun and you wont get discouraged like you would if hunting by yourself and not killing anything.

I got lucky and called in a tom my first year out and it has gotten better every year since.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I was a suspect for a while......

A friend of mine is the one who asked me to go with them. They own a motel and give guided hunts mainly phesant and turkey. But I would love to go buffalo, elk and bear with them next year one can only hope :D :D :D
