This is my first year hunting Sterling Forest and was hoping for a little help. I hunted the Cedar Pond area along Sterling Ridge on opening day and only manged to see 1 small bear, I let booboo live another day. So far this is the 4th bear Ive seen in this area but no deer. When i got back to my truck it looked like almost everyone had a deer including a real nice 8ptr. can anyone point me in the right direction? Am i hunting too high up there. By no means am i expecting anyone to give up there honey hole but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
