In those types of storms right after the rain or snow breaks is the time to hit the stand because the deer will be on the move to fill their belly after laying low for a while.
The exception would be if the bucks are in chase or breeding mode and then it could very well be worth it to tuff it out and get cold and soaked to the bone.

I was checking my food plots Saturday in wedowee, and one hell of a strom came through. I dont know where your at in Georgia, or if that storm came your way, but after that storm came through the fog was so thick we drove 15 miles past our turn before we even knew we had passed it.
