Tenpoint "working"

Postby Tenpoint » Fri Jun 06, 2008 2:07 pm

I spend lots of time behind a desk, but they let me out to play sometimes. Here's a nice pike I caught on my trip. We fished for a couple hours after work. I caught a few this size and several smaller ones.

My co-worker ran in to town to get some gas, and he saw this young Grizzly on the way...

 Okay, seriously, you keep going to the outdoors, catching fish, looking at bears and doing it with the company of attractive lady folk and then you post pictures of all of this for us to see. The worst part is you keep calling it "work". If you want to keep calling it work, that's fine I don't mind and I'm sure the rest of the members don't mind either but we all see through your lies. Just kidding buddy. Nice pics. :D

Oh, and I forgot to mention the hot tub after dinner!

Ya, I recall you were out in that area KH, but unfortunately I was only there for five days and I did not have any free time.

Will you be hunting out west this year?

Yes, I will be hunting here...hopefully. I had to put in for the lottery here. I entered both Mule and Whitetail, elk and bighorn...we see what happens. I will then travel back to Ontario for the second week of the hunt there. If you wanna come here you will have to share my tags.

Hi ladies,

I'm working up at diamond mine in Nunavut (up near Alaska, more or less). We have satelite internet at the camp. I've seen some muskox and carabou, but have not downloaded my pictures yet. I'lll be here until around September 5, and post some pics when I get home.

Cheers,
Tenpoint

Hi again guys,

Well, we got some blowing snow last night, and this morning there is ground level cloud cover, so we can't head out just yet (we access our site in a Bell longranger helicopter). So I'm chillin at the camp until the clouds lift or clear.

Well, my job will be up for grabs in a couple weeks, lol, 'cause I just took a new job with a different company, doing pretty much the same thing. Send me your resume...you never know! If you are an exploration driller you've got good odds!

There are not alot of different speies of fish here. If you are angling you're gonna catch one of the followig: lake trout, arctic char, greylig or burbot. But the fish are big and generally stupid!

Sorry I don't have pics yet, I will post some when I can.

Ok, so the pictures are not that great, my fingers were a bit frozen and my camera has a crap zoom. It's now a blizard outside, so I'll be in camp and have time to send some pics.

I'm an environmental consultant, specializing in fisheries assessments.

I work for a company called Stantec, we have offices across North America. If you are going to apply for a job, let me know, because I get a bonus for finding new employees, and I could really use it to buy a bow!

That doesn't look like work, looks like play to me. But you keep calling it that, and we'll keep laughing. I'm jealous!

Beautiful pics! Very beautiful.
