tracking devices

hey i stuck a deer at 20 in the chest and it fell in its trackes and layed there for like 20 sec. then got up and ran. it left a good blood trail and we tracked it for a good 300-400 yrds and we couldent find it. and i was wondering if u guys new any tracking devices so i dont have to lose another deer
