I know they're long and can be hard to shoot. Other than that you've stumped me.

You just happen to be on the best resource for information in the world. Just type in "longbows" in your search engine and you will find everything you need to know.

long bows

Postby custom102004 » Thu Sep 15, 2005 5:36 pm

i was taught to hunt by my step- grandpa which was cherokee indian. i used to luv to sit by an old oak and watch him work his way through a bottom in the woods, he luved to use a long bow and has sparked the interest in me. i have found out that it takes lot of practice with one and getting used to the idea that u and the long bow are just one unit. that is the only way to use it, otherwise ur just scaring those bucks with a wild arrant arrow flying through the brush behind him
a kill isnt what makes the hunt successful, but it sure helps
