Is this a decent quality, good starter ML. I am a decent hunter dont have a lot of money to spend (wife and three kids). I have never ML hunted before and could use some help.

Maybe one of these in-line fans can help you out. I shoot the ole traditional style with blackpowder and home cast bullets. Don't think you're wanting to know any of that. Good luck in your choice and good shooting.
Would not mind getting into it. I am just looking for the most idiot friendly. I would love to own all types of MLs but I did not realize how much kids cost!?

You'd be better of with a traditional rifle in my opinion. Easy to load...real fun to shoot and easy to clean with hot soapy water. Reliable as any and mine shoots real good at the ranges I shoot at. All my deer have been killed under 50 yards...usually way less than that. Figure if I'm gonna shoot farther than that...that's what my cartridge gun is for during regular firearms season.
I am fairly new to muzzleloading and the Traditions Pursuit LT is what I have. So far it is an awesome "beat 'em up deer gun." It is decently priced so I'm not too worried about the dings and scratches it gets. In-line muzzleloading can't get any easier. A monkey could use this gun! Here is the link to a Traditions Pursuit LT at Walmart:
I was shopping for some powder the other day for my ml and came accross an inexpesive inline that is break action. and comes with the 3 barrells one for ML and one 270 rifle and 20 gauge shotgun barrell for a outstanding price of 160.00. so you can have one gun for all seasons. its called a FOX muzzloader. i dont know if thier is a site for this company yet. well infact i think the gun shop ouner said it is a traditons. hope this helps.
I would go with the traditions inline. Very nice shooting gun when using hornady sabots, cleans up easy and as long as you keep your nipple clean it shoots every time.
I bought a Traditions Lightning the other day and was very suprised. It was equipped with a muzzle break. When I got to our range, with 100 grains of 777 and a 250gr T-Shock sabot it was very accurate, recoil was almost none, and very little smoke or concussion. It is the quietest large caliber one I have ever fired.
