trees to grow in sand

Hello, we own some land in northeast wisconsin. We are looking into joining 2 parcels of woods so we can put all of our land into some DNR management land. we have 60 acres total with about 15 of it being fields. according to the DNR, if we want to put all of the woods into their program we need to have the 2 parcels connected. the only problem is where we want to connect the two, all there is, is sand for soil. So i was wondering if someone could help us out by giving some ideas on what to plant that will grow at a decent rate in sandy soil. thanks for all of your help!!

I have some land like yours, I was also wondering the same. I have resort on rest of the land and this portion of land is vacant. If some trees or plants that can grow on sandy soil then the look and feel of resort will be increase.
