Trifocal Glasses + Scope?

Postby Clayton Gray » Sat Dec 03, 2005 11:03 am

Hey everybody, I'm glad I found this place its pretty cool place.

Anyway, I've been looking for a gift for my Dad and I was thinking of getting him a scope for Deer Hunting but since he Trifocals to see he can't use the scope. Are there any scopes out there that would be good for people who use Trifocals?

The only thing I would suggest is to have him pull his glasses off before he shoots. The rear objective(eye piece) is adjustable for focus. He could sight it in that way and it should be the same when he hunts. Of course he could leave them on and when he sights it in and hunts he could tip his head down so that he looks over the top of the trifocal portion of his glasses. Good luck.

if I were in that situation, I think I'd get a behind-the-neck glasses strap. Sight the scope in without glasses, then wear the glasses until you need to take a shot. Let 'em fall, since you have the glasses strap, and POW.
