trying to find a place to hunt

i all im new to the site i live in richmond just moved here last yr, i hope some one on here might be able to tell me where there is some public hunting land or any clubs near me

You have several WMA's located within an hr's drive from Richmond. All will have folks using the lands but do offer some good hunting for those willing to walk. Check out the DGIF website and click on the WMA's. Good Luck.
We are trying/planning to a small club together here on DHC. We are,at present looking for land by talking to timber folks, clubs as they may have some land available for next year!

Well you can take the drive to upstate New York to Oak Ridge lodge http://www.oakridgelodge.net They have excellent deer and turkey hunting.
