Under Armor or something else?

Postby silvergts1998 » Mon May 31, 2010 1:10 pm

Hey All,

I was wondering what is the best exteme cold weather under cloths you can get? I got some Under Armor underwear clothing and it seems to work well but it's pricey! I was wondering if there is anything out there that will handle extreme cold with out having to look like the michelin man with multi layers on. I think the last time I was out, I have on the UA clothing, carhartt overalls, sweat shirt, carhartt jacket and my scent loc vertigo jacket for camo. I felt like I was wearing too much clothing and was a little cold still. I think temps where like -7 below zero. What is the warmest you can get with UA? Does it work? hate to spend the money to find out I am still wearing the same amount of clothing on top of it.

Well to give you an answer....yes.Army surplus store usually have this, its polypropolene underwear issued to cold weather troops, like mountian units ect.Its light weight like under armour,It breathes, pulls moisture away from your body and is fairly comfortable, and a lot less costly. And no you wont look like the michelien man.Its pretty warm without having to do extra layers of clothes.Best of luck.Oh,ranger ricks,or the us cav store also carries it.
