Walmart Guns?

Postby JakeO » Thu Nov 27, 2008 4:22 pm

I heard that walmart sells guns for cheaper because they build the guns sold thier with cheaper parts. in other words if you buy a gun from walmart, it will be worse quality than the exact same one purchased elseware. does any one know if this is true, or false?

Yep, its false.

The reason Walmart can sell their guns cheaper is because when they buy their guns in large bulk from Mossberg, Remington, etc. they buy enough to stock all their stores and their warehouse.

So in buying in huge bulk numbers, literaly thousands of guns all at one time they get a good discount from the manufacturers and they forward part of that discount to the buyer through cheaper prices.

False. Buying in bulk, means cheaper prices.
