What do you guys use for camo in the winter?

What do you guys use in the fall or winter when there are no leaves on the tree? I been busted many times before against the sky. If I use my leafy camo outfit, I will look like the only leaf on the tree. I see some white outfits with branches on them. Do they work well?

I don't bow hunt, but sometimes when I goose hunt I go to the paint shop first and pick up a white disposable cover-all (Cheap) and just wear it over my camo.

I try to shy away from digital patterns. There are snow shadow and sky camo patterns that are white with dull gray and light blue to match the sky/snow with bare branches on them. I recommend Realtree APS (All Purpose Snow):

I wear either my USMC digital(not official production) or I wear some camo I have called BuckThorn. It does real well in all seasons. We dont have snow here usually until after season, so I dont have any snow camo.

There is some controversy about todays camo patterns and just how effective they are once the leaves are off the trees. I am seriously considering going with some Predator Fall Grey camo for everything. Im seriously starting to realize that all of the Realtree and Mossy Oak style camo appeals more to the hunter rather than being a good camo for most seasons.

The real thing that matters is how much light is reflecting from the clothes themselves, but when it comes to patterns, it's all about color shading and break up of solid figures or outlines, period. Anything like that will work, but inanimate objects like 3D branches, leaves, and a sky background are undoubtedly more realistic to deer simply because of the shapes and surroundings they see every day. When deer are looking towards you but unable to make out what you are, that's when they do the thing where they move their head from side to side while looking at you, what they are doing is trying to indentify shapes and make an outline to find out what you are. They don't see as crisp of picture as we do and are more sensative to light and movement. The color isn't as important as long as it's not reflecting too much light and the pattern blends with the surroundings. But it IS important to avoid plastic and vinyl since they reflect more light. So in the end, wear anything that breaks up your outline with the surroundings you will be hunting in and try not to move. Movement is probably the most important, because a camo tree itching it's nose will alert a deer just as much as a still grayish yellow blob wearing a solid color outfit.
