What would you do!

I have an opportunity to trade my new in the box Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter LT in 7 Rem Mag for a new in the box Remington Model 700 CDL in a 30-06 Scoped with a $300.00 Nikon 3x9x50. Both are nice wood stock and blued barrel. Again, what would you do!
Thanks :)

I am a Remington man myself, but that model 70 is sweet shooter also.

Why is someone willing to trade with you?

Probably the same reason I'd trade with you.

Just wondering why someone would trade a gun new in the box? If they bought it why wouldn't they use it? Or if they wanted the other gun why wouldn't they just buy the one they had originally wanted?

I had bought the Winni a little while back before the whole closing down the plant thing came up. Now I have a friend whos friend had a outdoors store and has gone out of business and is going to sell the Remy to him real cheap but he doesn't need a 30-06 but would like the Winchester. I know that it would be a good deal, dollar for dollar right now but what about a year from now. Again the whole Winchester thing. :D

Your call, but I'd trde in a heartbeat. Factory closing doesn't mean they won't be made overseas. Winchesters have not had the quality reputation since '64.
