Why this site stinks.

Postby GMFWoodchuck » Sun Aug 16, 2009 6:33 am

It seems like the moderators here have all the contol and use it. I have seen a bunch of threads that were ended just because a moderator didn't won't to "hear about it" any more. Or my favorite critism by them, "it's an old thread." So what? Maybe my/or anyone else's info/opinion is worthy or restarting a thread. You don't have to read it.

Hey, mod's. This is a site where people are supposed to speak their opinions. If you don't like it get another job.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, and we do respect that. But if you dont like or agree with what we do or how we do it,you dont have to visit this site at all.It can be arranged so you wont have to bother with logging in here at all.So please be civil.

Sorry sport, if you ask any of the regulars here, they will agree with me in saying that the mods do exactly what they are supposed to do and I've never had any issues with any of them. I like this site just the way it is; so happy trails.

How about we rename this thread topic "How I got banned" by GMWoodDORK? Don't like the way we run it? Go somewhere else.

Rather than complain about it, why don't you open a new topic or request that the thread be re-opend? Please, let me know which threads were "ended just because a moderator didn't won't to hear about it", and I will consider reopening them if you have something to add.

HAHAHAHA, thats hilarious.

Seriously though, I dont ever remember a thread being locked due to a Mod or Admin's opinion of the subject. The reasons that we lock or remove threads have to do with the rules of the site, which every member agrees to when they sign up.

This is what the Woodchuck was referring to. Obviously he's upset because he feels I shut down a thread that was vital to the forum or at least to him.

The original question was answered in the thread and everything after the 10th post was pretty much just people repeating what had already been said. No reason for it to go on and on and on and on.......

If you really want to talk about undersized ammo for deer, start a new thread about it.

Thirded here

Jeese and here I thought that it had to be a subject of actual importance like people falling out of tree stands and breaking their freaking necks or a recall on a defective bow or firearm.

Fine idea there. We dont ban someone just to be doing it.We first warn them and see what happens.Should they persist in being stupid then ........................

I personally think hte Mods are great source of information. I found this site to be very helpful and what I like it's mature in nature. Not mouthy people. Just good ole boys and girls talking about their passion and not being put down because they are not at a certain level. Good site!
