The Air Force decided to send me to McConnell AFB from Indiana in April. I hunt a lot of deer, water fowl, predators and turkeys. I was wondering if anyone had any input on how to get permission, areas to go to, or any public land sites I should look into. I am going to try to spend a week out there in early March just to get a little scouting in for turkey season. I only get a week to hunt because they are sending me to Ohio for a 6-week training session, so I need to make it is productive as possible.

I also am interested in rabbit hunting. I have a dog and am looking to get a couple more when I get a house. If anyone knows a someone with good dogs, I would be interested in talking to them about a pup or two. I like my beagles to be medium speed and no taller than 13". Color is not that important, but I would like to get a red tick or lemon and white.

Thank you for your input.
