would anyone like to share some deer attractant recipes

what are some things i can find in my kitchen and throw them together and make some pretty good deer attractant. i dont want nothing too expensive just somthing to hold a deer so you know where he's at and can get a good shot at him, or atleast let me know somethings there.

Try some vanilla extract. Use an old camera film canister, put in a cotton ball or two, and put in a few tea spoons or table spoons of vanilla extract before your hunt. Then when you get there, put it on the ground about 25 yards from your stand and open the lid. You can also put out a few cut up apples or sugar beets, or just spread some peanut butter on a branch or stump. Please make sure to check the laws for your state/location before baiting or using attractants.
